About the VolFest
VolFest is a unique festival dedicated to celebrating compassion, unity, and the transformative power of volunteering. Hosted by Humans of Volunteering, the festival brings together citizens, non-profits, and changemakers to inspire collective action and promote the spirit of doing good.
More than just an event, VolFest is a platform where people can experience volunteering first-hand, connect with passionate NGOs, and take meaningful steps toward creating a brighter and more compassionate future. Organized annually on Good Deeds Day, the festival invites individuals from all walks of life to come together and contribute to positive social change.
Over the past three years, VolFest has welcomed more than 10,000 attendees and 60+ NGOs, creating a vibrant space for collaboration, storytelling, and community engagement. The festival features a range of activities including interactive workshops, nukkad nataks addressing social issues, music performances, and inspiring stories of resilience and impact shared by volunteers and beneficiaries.
Hosted at Baansera Park, VolFest remains free and open to everyone, reinforcing the belief that celebrating volunteerism and doing good should always be accessible.
Through VolFest, Humans of Volunteering aims to make volunteering a national habit, encouraging citizens to turn small acts of kindness into lasting change.
